Megg is a 1 1/2 year old Shepherd mix currently weighing 22.4 pounds.  Her estimated DOB is 5-2-17.  Megg was recently hit by a car in Ensenada, Mexico and taken to a vet where she had to have her right rear leg amputated.  After being treated for her injuries, Megg was taken to a rescue in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico where she has slowly begun to learn to walk on three legs.   Dogs actually do quite well with only three legs and after a while usually forget they are even missing a leg.  Megg is naturally a very happy dog and her tail never stops wagging.  She loves everyone and just wants to be loved in return.  Megg needs a very special somebody in her life who will work with her and give her the love she needs.  Megg gets along with everyone including children.  If you would like to meet Megg, please go to our website www.stpacossecondchancedogrescue.org to submit an application.  Megg will be up to date on all vaccines, will be spayed and micro chipped by the time her adoption is final.  Her adoption fee is $200.
