Meet Sophie - a sweet 7-year old pit mix rescued from the euthanasia list. Sophie's dad passed away from an aggressive cancer two years ago. A family member that was caring for Sophie was no longer able to due to a recent injury and a lack of resources, and asked for help placing her in a foster home. 

Sophie is a very loving and shy girl - she opens up once she gets to know you. She loves going on walks and to the dog park and beach - and is also happy to be a couch potato. Sophie is very good with other dogs and cats, housebroken, and is a healthy and spry girl. She knows basic commands, is a good listener with good recall, and knows how to use a doggy door.
